Walk-in and multiplace chambers let one or more people sit or move inside a large hard shell vessel. They are built for clinics, wellness centers and households where several people will use the chamber, and they carry the largest space, delivery and installation requirements.

For a clinic, the useful number is not only the price. Divide the purchase price by what you charge per session to see how many sessions cover the chamber itself, then add staffing, space, insurance and upkeep before you plan around it.
Costs Beyond the Sticker Price
- Delivery and placement. Measure doors, hallways, stairs and elevators before you order. Hard shell and walk-in chambers are large and heavy, so confirm the delivery path and the floor where the chamber will sit.
- Electrical. Check the manufacturer's electrical requirements for the chamber and its compressor, and have an electrician confirm your outlet or circuit before delivery.
- Noise and ventilation. Compressors make noise. Plan where the compressor sits and make sure the room is ventilated the way the manufacturer specifies.
- Upkeep. Filters, seals and zippers wear over time. Ask what the warranty covers, what it requires of you, and how quickly parts ship.
- Household fit. A chamber is a large object in a home. Decide the room, the lighting and where the compressor hides before delivery day, not after.
Safety and Medical Questions to Settle First
Hyperbaric chambers raise air pressure, and some setups add supplemental oxygen. That makes safety rules part of ownership, not an afterthought.
- Talk to your physician first, especially about the pressure you plan to use, any use of supplemental oxygen, and any ear, sinus, lung or heart condition.
- Follow the manufacturer's instructions for use exactly, including pressure limits and session guidance.
- Treat fire risk seriously. Keep phones, electronics, heat sources and anything that can spark out of the chamber, and follow the manufacturer's rules on clothing and materials.
