Which payment methods do you accept?

We offer secure payment options for your convenience:

  • Major credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)
  • HSA and FSA health savings cards, through Truemed at checkout on eligible products
  • PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay
  • Affirm financing, flexible monthly payments, subject to approval. Rates and terms vary by applicant and purchase amount.
Do you offer a price match guarantee?

Yes. The Recovery Outlet guarantees the lowest authorized price on every product. If you find a lower advertised price from another authorized U.S. retailer, email us at sales@therecoveryoutlet.com with a link to the offer. Once verified, we will match or refund the difference, no questions asked.

When will my order ship?

Shipping time depends on product availability and warehouse location.

  • In stock and ready to ship: ships within 2 to 5 business days
  • Pre-order or ETA listed: reserved items ship as soon as available from the manufacturer

Large items like saunas or hyperbaric chambers may take 2 to 4 weeks for freight delivery. Estimated shipping times are shown on each product page and in your confirmation email.

Do you ship internationally?

No. The Recovery Outlet ships within the contiguous United States (48 states) only.

We do not ship internationally, to U.S. territories, or to APO/FPO addresses. This is a manufacturer and freight-carrier limitation on the large, high-value equipment we carry. See our Shipping Policy for full detail.

Do you ship to Hawaii, Alaska, or Puerto Rico?

No. We currently ship to the contiguous 48 states only.

Hawaii, Alaska, and U.S. territories including Puerto Rico are not served at this time. If you are located outside the contiguous 48 and would like us to look into options for a specific product, email sales@therecoveryoutlet.com and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

Is there a warranty?

Yes, all products sold through The Recovery Outlet are covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Warranty length and coverage vary by brand and product, and are listed on each product page. When a claim comes up, we handle it with the manufacturer alongside you.

Do you offer installation or setup services?

Yes. For select large equipment, we offer in-home setup and installation services. You will find an "In-Home Assembly" option on applicable product pages.

Delivery and assembly are scheduled separately. Customers are responsible for moving items inside before technician arrival. For massage chairs with "White Glove Delivery," setup is included during delivery.

Do you accept returns?

Yes, most products may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Because this is high-value equipment, please read the terms before you buy. The fees are real and we would rather you know them now than after delivery.

  • Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging
  • All returns require prior authorization (RMA). Unauthorized returns are not accepted
  • You are responsible for all return shipping costs
  • Approved returns are typically subject to a 20 to 25 percent restocking fee
  • Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable

Some items are final sale and cannot be returned at all, including Finnmark products, custom-built and made-to-order products, and any sauna that has been uncrated.

Brand-specific terms (Plunge, Revive, Luraco, Osaki, Tyent) override these general terms. Full detail is in our Refund and Return Policy. If you are unsure whether a product is returnable, email sales@therecoveryoutlet.com before ordering.

What if you don't carry a product I want?

We work with a variety of manufacturers across recovery and wellness technology. If you are looking for something not listed, email sales@therecoveryoutlet.com. We can likely source it for you.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel an order, contact sales@therecoveryoutlet.com immediately. Timing determines what applies:

  • Before processing: full refund.
  • After processing, before shipment: a cancellation or processing fee may apply, depending on the manufacturer.
  • After shipment: the order can no longer be canceled and is handled under our Refund and Return Policy, including return shipping and restocking fees.

Brand-specific examples: Plunge cancellations before shipment are subject to a 5 percent processing fee and cannot be canceled once shipped. Revive Plunge cancellations after processing are subject to a 10 percent fee. Custom-built and made-to-order products may be non-cancelable from the moment the order is placed.

What if my product arrives damaged?

Inspect your shipment before you sign for it. For freight deliveries, inspect the packaging and pallet and note any visible damage on the delivery receipt or BOL before signing. Signing a clean receipt makes a carrier claim much harder to win.

Then contact us within 48 hours of delivery at sales@therecoveryoutlet.com with your order number, photos of the product and the packaging, and a short description of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or repair as quickly as the manufacturer and carrier allow.

What happens after I place an order?

After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email from sales@therecoveryoutlet.com.

  1. We process and prepare your product for shipment.
  2. Tracking information will be emailed once your order ships.
  3. For updated shipping timelines, check your confirmation email or the product page.

We will keep you informed every step of the way.

Are these products medical devices?

No. Everything we sell is home recovery and wellness equipment. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and it is not a substitute for care from a physician. Anyone managing a medical condition, or who is pregnant, should talk to their doctor before starting any new routine with heat, cold, pressure, light, or electrical stimulation.

Cold plunges

Where can a cold plunge go?

A full tub is heavy, about the weight of a grand piano, sitting in one spot. A garage floor, a patio slab, or a ground floor is fine. A second floor or a raised deck needs a quick look from a contractor first. Put it near a drain or somewhere a hose can run, because you will empty it a few times a year.

Indoors or outdoors?

Both work. Outdoors in a hot climate, choose the stronger chiller option on the product page so it is not running all day in August. Indoors, an insulated tub sweats less on the outside and keeps the room drier.

What does it plug into?

Every plunge we carry runs on a normal household outlet. No plumber, no ice runs. Fill it from a garden hose.

Does the price include the chiller?

Each listing says. Most complete systems include it. Tub-only options are listed separately, and chillers and water care are in the cold plunge supplies collection.

How much upkeep is there?

The chiller keeps the water cold and clean on its own. Your part is a quick rinse before you get in, the cover on when you get out, and a filter rinse every week or two. Most owners change the water every one to three months.

How cold does it get, and how cold should I go?

Every plunge we carry reaches the low 40s Fahrenheit and most go lower. Most people plunge between 45 and 55 degrees for two to five minutes. Start warmer and shorter, then work down.

Is a cold plunge safe for me?

Cold water raises heart rate and blood pressure for a moment. Anyone with a heart or circulatory condition, or who is pregnant, should check with a physician first. Our cold plunge science guide covers who should and should not plunge.

Which cold plunge should I buy?

Our guide Plunge vs Revive vs Plunge Air compares every model we carry on chillers, leaks, warranty and price. Or call 1 (800) 398-3770 and we will match a tub to your space in one conversation. Returns on Plunge carry a 25 percent restocking fee and on Revive 20 percent, on unused, uninstalled units in the original packaging.

Hyperbaric chambers

What does the ATA number mean?

ATA is the pressure inside the chamber. 1.0 is the air in your room. We carry chambers from 1.3 ATA up to 2.5 ATA. The lower numbers are soft chambers you can zip into and store away. The higher numbers are hard chambers that stay in one room. More pressure means more oxygen in each session, and a bigger, heavier, more expensive chamber. Most homes choose 1.3 to 1.5. For the full explanation, read 1.3 vs 1.5 ATA: What the Number Means.

Is the oxygen included?

The chamber makes the pressure. A separate machine called a concentrator makes the oxygen you breathe through a mask. Our 1.4 and 1.5 ATA chambers include it. On any other chamber, check the listing or ask us before you order.

Soft shell or hard shell?

Soft shells run 1.3 to 1.5 ATA, fold away, and start around $4,500. Hard shells run 1.5 to 2.5 ATA, stay put, and start around $24,000. Our soft vs hard shell guide compares them, and each has its own collection: soft shell and hard shell.

Where does it go, and what does it plug into?

A lie-down chamber is about the length of a couch, plus room at one end to get in. Sitting and walk-in chambers take less floor and more height, and they suit anyone who does not want to climb into a tube. Everything runs on a normal household outlet. The compressor makes about as much noise as a dishwasher, so plan where it sits.

How long is a session?

Most people do 60 to 90 minutes, several times a week. The chamber takes 10 to 15 minutes to reach pressure and a few minutes to come back down, and your ears pop the way they do on a plane.

What comes in the box?

Each listing says. A complete system is the chamber, the air compressor, the oxygen concentrator, masks and gauges. Hard shells build the compressor and concentrator into one cabinet.

Is a home chamber the same as hospital hyperbaric treatment?

No. A home chamber is recovery equipment, the same way a sauna is. It is not the hospital treatment a doctor prescribes for specific conditions. Anyone managing a medical condition, or with ear, sinus or lung issues, should talk to their physician before buying.

How long does delivery take, and what is the warranty?

Chambers ship by freight and arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Delivery and setup are confirmed in writing before you order. In-home setup is available on select chambers and scheduled separately. Most of our soft and hard shells carry a 3 year manufacturer warranty, listed on each product page.

Red light therapy

Panel, bed, or targeted device?

A panel hangs on a wall or a stand and treats one side of you at a time. It fits any room and starts at $249. A bed treats the whole body at once, lying down, in one short session, and suits people who will use it daily. Masks, belts and wraps treat one area, like the face or a knee. Our panel vs bed guide helps you decide.

Where does it go?

A panel needs wall space or floor space for its stand and a normal outlet. A bed needs about the room of a massage table plus space to open it. Put it where you already spend time, because the device that gets used is the one in your path.

What should I look for on a listing?

Two things. A device should list its wavelengths, both red and near infrared. And it should list how strong the light is at the distance you will sit. If a listing says neither, skip it. Every Mito and Vital device we carry lists both.

How often do I use it, and how far away do I sit?

Three to five sessions a week, 10 to 20 minutes each. Most panels are used between 6 and 18 inches away, and closer means a shorter session. The product page gives the distance for each device. Most people notice a change after two to three weeks of regular use.

Is red light safe?

Red light has no ultraviolet and does not heat the skin. Wear the eye protection your device recommends and follow its time and distance guidance. Anyone pregnant, on medication that makes skin sensitive to light, or managing a medical condition should check with a physician first.

How long does delivery take, and what is the warranty?

Panels and small devices ship in 2 to 5 business days by parcel. Beds ship by freight in 7 to 21 business days. Delivery and setup are confirmed in writing before you order. Warranty is listed on each product page, 2 years on Mito panels and 3 years on the Vital bed. For the detail on wavelengths and session times, read our complete guide to red light therapy at home.

Saunas

Infrared or traditional?

Infrared cabins warm your body directly at a lower air temperature, plug in like an appliance, and fit indoors. Traditional and barrel saunas heat the air with a stove, run hotter, and usually live outdoors or in a dedicated room. If you want a sauna in a spare bedroom this month, infrared. If you want the classic hot room and have the space, traditional. Our guide Infrared Sauna vs Traditional Sauna covers the difference in heat, cost and daily use.

Do I need an electrician?

This is the surprise that breaks budgets. Most one and two person infrared cabins plug into a normal outlet. Traditional saunas with an electric heater need a dedicated 240 volt circuit, the same kind an electric dryer uses, installed by an electrician before the sauna arrives. The product page says which. Confirm it with us before you order.

Who delivers it, and who builds it?

Saunas arrive by freight in 2 to 4 weeks. Delivery and setup are confirmed in writing before you order. Bringing the crates inside and assembly are not included unless arranged in advance. In-home setup is available on select saunas and is scheduled separately. Some models arrive pre-assembled; most cabins and barrels are put together on site, usually in an afternoon with two people.

Where does it go?

Measure the ceiling height, the footprint, and the doorways along the route in. Outdoor saunas need a level base and somewhere for water to drain. Indoor saunas want a bit of clearance for air to move around them.

How hot does it get?

Infrared cabins run about 120 to 150 degrees and feel comfortable for 15 to 45 minutes. Traditional saunas run hotter, often 170 degrees and above, for shorter sits.

Can I return a sauna?

Within 30 days, unused, uninstalled and in the original packaging, with a restocking fee. Finnmark saunas, and any sauna that has been uncrated, are final sale. Every sauna carries the manufacturer's warranty listed on its page.

Compression boots and sleeves

What do compression boots do?

They inflate and deflate in sequence around your legs, arms or hips, the way a massage therapist works from the foot upward. People use them after training, after long days on their feet, and after travel. Our guide Do Compression Boots Really Work covers what to expect.

How long is a session?

Most people run 20 to 30 minutes at a moderate pressure setting. Start lower and shorter, and follow the guidance on the product page for your system.

How do I pick a size?

Boots are sized by leg length, usually by your inseam or height. Each product page has the size chart. Attachments for the arms and hips are sold separately on most systems, and each listing says what is in the box.

Do they need an outlet?

Most systems plug into a normal outlet. Some wearable sleeves run on a rechargeable battery for about 45 minutes per charge. The product page lists which.

Who should check with a doctor first?

Anyone with a history of blood clots, circulatory disease, an open wound, or who is pregnant. Compression is recovery equipment, not a treatment.

Massage chairs

How is a massage chair delivered?

By freight. Chairs marked "White Glove Delivery" are brought inside, unpacked and set up during delivery. Otherwise delivery is curbside and setup is yours or added as an option. Measure the doorways and the route to the room before you order; chairs are wide and heavy.

How much room does it need?

Most chairs recline to nearly flat and need clearance behind and in front. The product page lists the dimensions reclined and upright. Plan for a normal outlet within reach.

Can I return a massage chair?

Within 30 days, unused and in the original packaging, with a restocking fee. Osaki returns carry a 20 percent fee, and Luraco and Osaki terms override our general policy. Warranty is listed on each product page. Our guide on how massage chairs support recovery covers what the features mean.

Cryotherapy machines

What is the difference between a cryotherapy chamber and a cold plunge?

A chamber cools the air around you to about minus 110 Celsius for two to three minutes, dry. A plunge puts you in cold water for a few minutes. Our guide Cryotherapy vs Cold Plunge compares them.

Do cryotherapy chambers need liquid nitrogen?

The Cryo Innovations chambers we carry run on electric refrigeration, so there are no nitrogen tanks to store or refill. Localized units cool one area at a time and are also nitrogen-free.

Can I put a cryotherapy chamber at home?

These are commercial machines built for gyms, studios and clinics, and some homes. They need dedicated power and a site plan, and they ship by freight with installation arranged separately. Call us before ordering and we will walk through the room, the power and the delivery path. Our cryotherapy cost guide covers pricing.

Hydrogen water

What is hydrogen water?

Filtered water with extra hydrogen gas dissolved into it by a machine. Our complete guide to molecular hydrogen water covers what the research says and what to ignore.

Flask, pitcher, countertop machine, or under-sink filter?

A flask is for one person on the move. A pitcher or countertop machine serves a household from the kitchen. An under-sink filter puts hydrogen water at the tap all day and takes a plumber or a handy afternoon to install. A bath machine is for full-body soaks rather than drinking.

How soon should I drink it?

Right away. Dissolved hydrogen leaves water quickly, and an open glass loses much of it within an hour. Generate it, drink it, and skip storing it.

What upkeep is there?

Use purified or filtered water, clean the device on the schedule in the manual, and replace filter cartridges when the machine or the calendar says so. Replacement filters are in the hydrogen filter accessories collection. Warranty is listed on each product page, and Tyent terms override our general return policy.

PEMF mats and light wraps

What does a PEMF mat feel like?

Most people feel nothing from the pulses themselves. What they notice is the warmth of the infrared heat and a looser feeling afterward. Sessions run 15 to 40 minutes lying down. Our guide on infrared and PEMF therapy explains the combination.

How long do I wear a light wrap?

Wraps and masks are used for 10 to 30 minutes on one area, a few times a week. Most plug into a normal outlet, and some run on a rechargeable battery pack.

Who should check with a doctor first?

Anyone pregnant, heat sensitive, managing a medical condition, or using an implanted device such as a pacemaker. Start with shorter sessions and follow the product instructions.

Vibration plates

What is a vibration plate for?

You stand, sit or stretch on a platform that vibrates, and your muscles work to hold you steady. Sessions run 10 to 15 minutes. Our guide VibeX vs Power Plate compares the models we carry.

Where can it go?

On any solid floor, on the rubber mat that ships with most models, near a normal outlet. Check the weight capacity on the product page; the Power Plate MOVE, for example, supports users up to 300 pounds.

What is the warranty?

It varies by model and is listed on each product page. The Power Plate my8, for example, carries 3 years on hardware, 1 year on electronics and 1 year on labor.

EMS training suits

How does an EMS suit work?

Electrodes in the suit send gentle pulses that contract your muscles while you move through a short guided workout, usually 20 minutes. Our guide Get More Out of Less with EMS explains a session.

What comes with the suit?

The suit, the power box that controls it, a rechargeable battery and charger, and a wash bag. Some brands sell a twin pack for two people. Sizing charts are on each product page.

Who should not use EMS?

Anyone with a pacemaker or other implanted electrical device, who is pregnant, or who has a heart condition or epilepsy, unless a physician clears it.

Massage guns and portable devices

How long does the battery last?

It depends on the device. Battery life and charge time are listed on each product page, and most devices ship with a charger or a charging stand.

Can I return a massage gun or wearable?

Within 30 days, unused and in the original packaging, with a restocking fee. Warranty is listed on each product page. Many of these devices are HSA and FSA eligible through Truemed at checkout.

How do I use a massage gun for recovery?

A few minutes before training warms the muscle. Five to ten minutes on the muscles you worked afterward helps them settle. Our guide Why Recovery Is Just as Important as Training covers a simple routine.

The Recovery Outlet sells home recovery and wellness equipment. Nothing on this page is medical advice. Consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any new wellness practice.
