• Fluoride Pre-Filter (SIR‑900)
  A synthetic aluminum oxide medium that removes fluoride (and potentially arsenic) through a chemical reaction. Designed for minimal shrinkage, low pressure loss, and physical stability. 
• Stage 1 & 2 — Strong Anion Exchange Resin
  High-capacity resin (available in chloride or hydroxide form) specifically engineered to remove Chromium‑6. 
• Stage 3 — KDF55 + Catalytic Carbon
  KDF55 reduces heavy metals (lead, mercury, nickel), chlorine, acts as a bacteria and scale control medium. Catalytic carbon tackles iron, hydrogen sulfide, manganese, and chloramines. 
• Dimensions & Flow Info
  Measures 15″ (L) × 15″ (H) × 5″ (W). The flow path is: Fluoride pre-filter inlet → Stage 3 outlet.
• Flushing Requirement
  Must flush with 4 gallons of water before use to remove any loose media particles.

• Lifespan
  Typically lasts around 6 months or filters approximately 700 gallons, whichever comes first. Cartridges should be replaced twice per year or sooner if the flow slows.
