FAQs

What are the five technologies, and is the salt (halo) therapy standard?

The HaloX brings together whole-body red light and near-infrared therapy, PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field) therapy, a multi-zone vibration massage mattress with infrared heat, and AI brain-sound therapy — all run from one smart controller. These modalities are generally used together to support relaxation, recovery, circulation and overall wellness.

The fifth technology, Caracalla wet halo (saline aerosol) therapy, is offered as an optional add-on rather than a standard inclusion. If you'd like the salt-air system configured with your couch, let our wellness team know and we'll quote it with the unit.

What red light wavelengths and output does it deliver?

The light system uses 64 high-output triple-chip LEDs delivering 200 W total across three wavelengths: 630 nm and 660 nm in the visible red range, plus 850 nm near-infrared. Irradiance reaches up to 160 mW/cm² with a 30° beam angle for full-body coverage.

Red wavelengths (around 630–660 nm) are commonly associated with skin and surface tissue, while near-infrared (around 810–850 nm) penetrates more deeply and is often used to support muscle and joint recovery and circulation. Individual results vary, and red light therapy is not a substitute for medical care.

Who is the HaloX best for, and how much space does it need?

It's a full-body, lie-down couch designed for one person per session. Because it consolidates five recovery modalities into a single station, it's a strong fit for recovery studios, med spas, longevity and wellness centers, gyms, and premium home recovery rooms that want a turnkey, spa-quality experience.

Plan your space around the couch's footprint of 227 x 87 x 133 cm (about 89.4 x 34.3 x 52.4 in), plus clearance to get on and off comfortably and room for the optional halo module if you add it.

Is this a medical device, and is it right for me?

The HaloX is a wellness and relaxation platform, not a medical device, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Its technologies are generally used to support relaxation, recovery, circulation and overall wellbeing, and individual results vary.

Some modalities have important considerations — for example, PEMF is generally not recommended for people with a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device, and anyone who is pregnant or managing a health condition should check first. Always consult a qualified physician before beginning any new wellness protocol. As a retailer, The Recovery Outlet can answer product questions but does not provide medical advice.
