A Hyperbaric Session That Meets You Where You Are

Roll right in — a 32" wide by 52" tall door and 40" frame open the chamber to wheelchair users and anyone who can't manage a step-over entry

Sit upright through your whole session, with three viewports, interior LED lighting, and a two-way communications system so you never feel closed off

Run it on your own schedule — single-person operation needs no attendant, and the system is rated for continuous daily use

Reclaim the room when you're done — the quick-connect steel frame folds down so the chamber stores away between sessions

FAQs

What does 1.4 ATA mean, and how is a soft-shell chamber different from a hard one?

ATA stands for atmospheres absolute — a measure of the pressure inside the chamber. At 1.4 ATA (5.8 PSI / 42 KPA), this chamber holds you at the comfortable, mild end of the pressure range that many people choose for at-home, wellness-oriented use.

This is a soft-shell chamber: an upright fabric capsule built from German-sourced 44 oz food-grade TPU/polyester with heat-welded seams and a quick-connect internal steel frame, rather than a rigid steel pressure vessel. It is not ASME code compliant. Soft-shell systems are lighter, foldable, and well suited to home settings; hard-shell ASME chambers reach higher pressures and are typically used in clinical environments.

How does setup work — power, oxygen, and venting?

The system runs on standard 110–120V power (220V available) and draws about 1,560 watts total across the chamber, the oil-free air compressor, and the concentrator. The included 10 LPM DeVilbiss oxygen concentrator pulls oxygen from room air at 95%+ purity, so there are no oxygen tanks to refill.

Air is delivered through a 5-stage-filtered oil-free compressor, with additional micron-level filtration in the oxygen generator. CO2 buildup is managed through the chamber's pressure relief valves, and an included dehumidifier and muffler help keep the environment comfortable and quiet. Video training and quick-tips guides walk you through first setup.

Who is this chamber best suited for?

It's designed for single-person sessions in an upright sitting position, which many people find easier and more comfortable than lying flat. The standout feature is accessibility: a 32" wide by 52" tall door and a 40" bottom frame width let a wheelchair roll straight up to the opening, making it a strong fit for mobility-limited users and households that can't manage a step-over or lie-down entry.

Inflated, the chamber measures 61"L x 52"W x 66"H and the capsule itself weighs 29 lbs, with a total system weight of 134 lbs. Because the internal steel frame is quick-connect and foldable, the unit can be set up in a spare room and stored away between sessions.

Is hyperbaric therapy right for me?

That's a decision to make with a medical professional. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is generally used to support recovery, circulation, and overall wellness, but it isn't appropriate for everyone, and certain conditions call for caution.

Individual results vary, and this chamber is not a substitute for medical care. Always consult a qualified physician before beginning any hyperbaric protocol, especially if you have existing health conditions or take medication. As an authorized Oxygen Health Systems dealer, The Recovery Outlet is happy to answer product questions, but we don't provide medical advice.
