Description
The GRAND DIVE VERTICAL by Summit to Sea is an innovative, vertically oriented inflatable hyperbaric chamber designed for personal or clinical use. It is a Class II Medical Device cleared by the FDA, requiring a prescription for purchase and operation. This unique upright design offers a different user experience compared to horizontal chambers. Summit to Sea emphasizes its patented designs and high standards for quality, comfort, and safety, incorporating multiple redundant safety features. The chamber is intended for hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) in a controlled, pressurized environment.
BENEFITS

SPECIFICATIONS
Technical Specifications
Product Name: GRAND DIVE VERTICAL
Type: Vertical inflatable hyperbaric chamber
Operating Pressure: Factory calibrated to 1.3 ATA (Atmospheres Absolutas) or 4.4 PSI (as indicated by the blue section on the gauge and blue pressure relief valves).
Safety Features (4 key features highlighted):
Dual Compressor System: Two independent compressor systems attach to the chamber, providing redundancy and continuous fresh air supply.
Pressure Relief Valves:
Two (2) primary pressure relief valves with blue circles (MRM High-Flow PRV). One located on top of the chamber, the other above the window. Factory calibrated to equalize pressure at 1.3 ATA / 4.4 PSI.
One (1) safety backup pressure relief valve with a yellow circle (MRM High-Flow PRV), set to open at a slightly higher pressure than the blue valves. Located on top of the chamber.
Zipper Stress Relief System (Buckles): Belts with buckles are used along the zipper line to reduce stress on the zippers and ensure a secure seal, extending their life. All belts must be buckled during operation.
Failed Circuit Alarm: Alerts the user with a loud alarm in case of a power outage that would prevent compressors from supplying fresh air.
Zipper System:
Unique two-zipper combination: one internal airtight zipper and one external mechanical zipper.
Requires buckles to be connected when closing for proper alignment and stress relief.
Internal zipper has a dock at the top end for an airtight seal.
External zipper is secured by pulling the zipper string through a safety strap.
Air Supply & Connection:
Two (2) compressors.
Fill Valves (x2): Located to the right of the zippers for connecting compressor hoses (quick connect with O-ring, silicone lubricant recommended).
Monitoring & Ports:
External Color-Coded Gauge: Needle indicates internal pressure; blue area for full operational pressure (1.3 ATA). Accurate to +/- 5%.
Internal Color-Coded Gauge: Operates similarly to the external gauge, but the needle moves counter-clockwise.
Red Dump Valve (Red Knob): Used to depressurize the chamber. Turns in either direction to release air, allowing control over deflation speed. Can also be used during pressurization for ear comfort. Must be in the closed position for inflation.
Auxiliary Valve Port: Located next to the window for attaching the small auxiliary valve.
Accessory Ports (x2): Additional ports with black protective covers over blue plugs (one between fill valves, one on top of the chamber) for connecting accessories like a cooler.
Structure & Setup:
Floor System: A circular floor cover with a "This Side Up" indication and 8 buckles for attaching to the base of the chamber. Velcro pieces on the floor cover attach to a stabilizer ring.
Internal Frame: Consists of a white top ring, a black bottom ring, and 3 poles. Assembled inside the chamber on top of the carpet using a Phillips screwdriver.
Interior:
Carpet: Round carpet placed inside the chamber, under the internal frame.
Designed to accommodate a chair (e.g., office chair, padded chair, foldable camping chair) or bean bag.
