USAGE
Maintaining your ionizer is easy with a few simple steps:
- Turn off the ionizer and shut off the incoming water flow.
- Remove the second filter housing (keep a towel ready for possible drips).
- Insert the citric acid cleaning cartridge — twist until snug, but don’t overtighten.
- Turn the ionizer and water supply back on, then run H₂O CLEAN mode for 30 seconds only.
- Allow the unit to rest untouched for 3 hours.
- For a deeper clean, repeat the “30 seconds + rest” cycle up to three times.
- Reinstall your regular filter.
- Run the H₂O cycle for 3 minutes to flush.
- Verify that water flow and pH levels are back to normal.
Recommended use: every 6–12 months, or more frequently in hard-water regions.
