FILTRATION & PERFORMANCE

  • Fluoride Pre‑Filter (SIR‑900): Made of synthetic aluminum oxide, this stage reduces fluoride via chemical reaction, with minimal swelling and low pressure drop. 
  • Stages 1 & 2 – Strong Anion Exchange Resin: A high-capacity resin (available in chloride or hydroxide form) specifically engineered to remove Chromium‑6.
  • Stage 3 – KDF55 + Catalytic Carbon: KDF55 targets heavy metals like lead, mercury, and nickel while also providing bacteria control and scale prevention. Catalytic carbon removes iron, hydrogen sulfide, manganese, and chloramines. 
  • Dimensions & Flow Direction: The cartridge system measures 15″ (L) × 15″ (H) × 5″ (W). Water should flow in through the fluoride pre-filter (Stage 0) and exit via Stage 3.
  • Initial Flush Requirement: A 4-gallon flush is required before first use to remove any loose media particles.

  • Service Life: Expected to last about 6 months or roughly 700 gallons of water. Replace every six months or when you notice reduced flow.
